The 16 Mile Brewing Company name harkens back to the late 1700’s when Georgetown was still known as Pettijohn’s old field, a rather isolated town, centrally located in Sussex County. The area was “16 miles from anywhere” in the county and was the best place for farmers, merchants, and politicians to meet to conduct official business. Georgetown replaced Lewes as the County Seat when numerous petitions were sent to Delaware’s General Assembly requesting that the move be made to accommodate all county residents. (For more information see “16 Miles from Anywhere: A History of Georgetown, Del., by William J. Wade.) |

In 2000, Nico Freccia and Shaun O’Sullivan founded the 21st Amendment Brewery in San Francisco’s historic South Park neighborhood. The popular brewpub is now at the heart of the new city center, just south of the financial district and only two blocks from the San Francisco Giants baseball park. In addition to eight rotating taps of multiple award-winning hand-crafted house beers, the pub has been voted “Best Brewpub”, “Best Burger” and “Best Happy Hour” by the San Francisco press. Freccia and O’Sullivan met in early 1995 in San Francisco. Both had just moved from southern California to the Bay area when they heard the calling of beer. O’Sullivan, a former photographer and paralegal, “traded his suits for boots and was saved by beer”. He moved to Berkeley and took a job as assistant brewer at the Triple Rock Brewery there. Freccia, a writer, actor and, by extension, restaurant professional, was also an avid homebrewer. Frustrated with the lack of beer culture in the L.A. area, he moved to San Francisco and began writing for the Celebrator Beer News, the west’s largest beer publication. Freccia and O’Sullivan met, became friends and, while sitting together in a summer class on brewing science at UC Davis, hatched their plan for what would become the 21st Amendment. |

Founded in 1986, the Abita Brewing Company is nestled in the piney woods 30 miles north of New Orleans. In its first year, the brewery produced 1,500 barrels of beer. We had no idea what we started. Customers loved our beer! By 1994, we outgrew the original site (now our 100 seat brew pub) and moved up the road to a larger facility to keep up with demand. old pictures We brew over 109,000 barrels of beer and 6,000 barrels of root beer in our state of the art brewing facility. Our lagers and ales are brewed in small batches, hand-crafted by a team of dedicated workers with only the highest ideals of quality. This pride, along with our brewing process, is what creates our great brews. |

A pioneer in the craft beer movement, North Coast Brewing Company opened in 1988 as a local brewpub in the historic town of Fort Bragg, located on California’s Mendocino Coast. Under the leadership of Brewmaster Mark Ruedrich, the brewery has developed a strong reputation for quality having won more than 70 awards in national and international competitions. In addition to Red Seal Ale, Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout, Scrimshaw Pilsner, and other fine North Coast brands, the brewery has resurrected the old Acme label with a heritage dating back to the San Francisco of the 1860’s. Allagash Brewing Company started in 1995, as a one-man operation in a small space on the outskirts of Portland, Maine. Founder Rob Tod had worked in a brewery setting before and recognized a void within the craft brewing movement. While both German and British styles had become prevalent throughout the U.S., the ever-creative Belgian-styles were very difficult to find. Through his travels, Tod had sampled many of these unique beers and felt that the flavors and traditions of Belgium needed to be shared with the American drinking public. He designed a small 15-barrel brewhouse, gathered the finest array of authentic raw materials and began his quest towards the production of traditional Belgian style ales. Rob sold his first batch of beer in the summer of 1995. The first release from Allagash was Allagash White, modeled after the traditional "White" beers of Belgium. Also referred to as "wit" beers, they get their unique flavor from the use of wheat in place of barley, and the use of Curacao orange peel, coriander and other spices. Allagash combined these ingredients with their very own proprietary Belgian yeast strain to create the remarkably unique and refreshing beer that is today their flagship brand. |

Once upon a time, in a smoky bar on the beautiful south shore of Long Island, New York – two young beer hounds that share a common passion meet. Live bluegrass music filled the air of Mr. Fadeley’s Pub, their favorite drinking hole located in historic, downtown Patchogue. Surrounded by good friends, Mark Burford and Peter Cotter indulged in some tasty German imports and talked about their latest home-brewing concoctions over a chess platter, it was this evening they started to discuss their dream. |

BOAKS was really started in 1999 when Brian Boak’s kids bought his first kit to brew beer. He was instantly hooked. Eight years of home brewing and many awards later told him that he should share his beer. The beers we humbly present for your taste buds are based on those years of brewing. We believe that one beer does not fit all food or all times of year. We will produce beers that will challenge your taste buds and expand your knowledge of pairing beer and food. |

In 1979 two CU professors applied for and received the 43rd brewing license issued in the U.S., creating Colorado’s First Microbrewery in a goat shed northeast of Boulder. Five years later, the brewery moved to its current site and has since expanded from the original one-barrel brewing system to a state-of-the-art 50 barrel brewhouse with a top-of-the-line bottling system and a capacity of 43,000 barrels annually. In 1990, Boulder Beer Company introduced Colorado favorites Buffalo Gold and Singletrack Copper Ale as packaged products. Since 1991, Brewmaster David Zuckerman has overseen the production of brews that have garnered dozens of national and international medals in prestigious beer competitions. Reflecting the creative spirit of the brewery’s founders, 2002 saw the introduction of the innovative and widely popular Hazed & Infused Dry-Hopped Ale, flagship of the Looking Glass Series. Hazed & Infused was soon followed by Mojo India Pale Ale, Never Summer Ale, Sweaty Betty Blonde wheat beer, Obovoid Empirical Stout, MoJo Risin’ Double IPA, Flashback India Brown Ale in 2009, Kinda Blue blueberry wheat in 2010, Hoopla Pale Ale in 2011 and the occasional appearance by the cult favorite, Killer Penguin barleywine style ale. |

Back in the 1980s, our founder Richard Squire was your typical ski bum – with one significant difference. He had a knack for making extraordinary home brews. For years, only his closest friends were able to enjoy his creations, but it didn’t take long for Richard to realize that his talents needed to be shared with the world. |

Brooklyn Brewery makes beer. Good beer. Not only does it taste good and make your meal better but we like to think that since its founding in 1988, Brooklyn Brewery has brewed flavorful beers that enrich the life, tradition and culture of the communities it serves. Its award-winning roster of year-round, seasonal and specialty beers have gained the Brewery notoriety as one of the top craft beer producers in the world. While striving to brew the best beer possible (and make time for our growing families), The Brewery promotes the proliferation of good beer and good food whenever it can. Brooklyn beers are currently distributed in 25 states and 20 countries. Throughout 2011 The Brewery underwent an expansion that will double overall capacity in 2012 and quintuple by 2013. Brooklyn Brewery probably exports more beer than any other American craft brewery. The leaders of Brooklyn Brewery have also led the industry in publishing. Brewmaster Garrett Oliver, widely acknowledged as the world’s foremost scholar on beer, wrote The Brewmaster’s Table: Discovering The Pleasures of Real Beer with Real Food in 2003. The book was firmly established as the first and final word on beer and food pairings in addition to being an entertaining guide to the world’s best beers and breweries. In 2005, Co-Founders Steve Hindy and Tom Potter wrote Beer School. Beer School’s real world stories about starting a brewery from scratch continues to inspire entrepreneurs today. The Brewmaster's Table is reportedly selling for about a dollar more than Beer School on amazon.com and that does not bother Steve. More recently, in 2011, Garrett acted as the editor-in-chief of the comprehensive Oxford Companion To Beer. Essentially a beer encyclopedia, the book documents everything from malt disease to beer clubs to the ancient process of bottle re-fermentation. |

Our Beers: Boat Beer, 077XX Double IPA, B.D.G. Country Ale About Us: Introducing Carton Brewing Having decided they had something to contribute to the very exciting conversation going on in craft brewing, cousins Chris and Augie Carton teamed up with their favorite home brewer, Jesse Ferguson, and started Carton Brewing. In the seashore community where they were born and raised, the Carton boys found a turn-of-the-century red brick warehouse and adapted it to accommodate a state-of-the-art Newlands Systems 15 barrel brew house. With Jesse at its helm, 6 E. Washington Avenue was turned into an independent craft brewery and their hats were in the ring. Applying a passion for stimulating flavor to inspiration found all around them, they set about their goal: to make tasty beer in the place their tastes were formed. |

A word about Cricket Hill beers: Our beers are all designed as session beers that are as gentle in style as can be. They are full bodied beers that deliver classic flavors in the middle of your palate then fade away to nothing with no bitter aftertaste. We are not trying to make a statement, or blow you away with a hop or malt bomb, we are simply showing the world what great beer tastes like! |

The story of Dogfish Head began in June of 1995 when we opened Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats, the first state's first brewpub opened in the resort beach community of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The plan was to bring original beer, original food, and original music to the area. Not only was Dogfish Head Delaware’s first brewpub, it was the smallest commercial brewery in America. Our very first batch, Shelter Pale Ale, was brewed on a system which essentially was three little kegs with propane burners underneath. Brewing 12–gallon batches of beer for a whole restaurant proved to be more than a full time job. When the doors to the pub first opened, we brewed three times a day, five days a week! The one benefit to brewing on such a small system was the ability to try out a myriad of different recipes. We quickly got bored brewing the same things over and over – that’s when we started adding all sorts of weird ingredients and getting kind of crazy with the beers! |

The Elysian was founded in 1995 by principals Dick Cantwell (President/Head Brewer), Joe Bisacca (CFO/Head of Operations) and David Buhler (Sales & Marketing Director). Our first Seattle location, a 220-seat beer hall and our main brewery, opened in 1996 on Capitol Hill, Seattle’s most populous neighborhood. In 1997 Elysian was chosen to operate a pub and small brewery at Gameworks—a large entertainment complex owned by Universal Studios, Dreamworks & Sega. Elysian left this partnership in 2002 upon expiration of the five-year contract. A short year later Elysian opened TangleTown, an 80-seat neighborhood brewery/bistro. With a 3-bbl pilot brewery, Elysian-TangleTown acted as the brewers' test kitchen, fueling the creative fires and helping cement Elysian's reputation as Seattle’s top brewpub. The most recent addition to the Elysian empire, Elysian Fields, opened in August 2006. Perched next to Seattle’s two sports arenas, Fields seats 400 and packs the house at lunch and on gamedays. It is typical for us to offer over twenty different Elysian beers between the three locations. From our very first day, when we poured the beers of each of the breweries we had all worked at in the past alongside our own beer, Elysian has honored the efforts of other brewers and brewing cultures. Uniquely among brewpubs, we have offered rare German and Belgian beers at our own taps along with those of our friends, some of whom at times have joined us to brew special commemorative beers. In a way our new collaboration with New Belgium is a development of this spirit of fun and mutual respect. Under the terms of our arrangement we are able to produce large batches of our Immortal IPA and seasonal specialties at the New Belgium facility in Fort Collins, and New Belgium’s brewers can produce small-batch, experimental beers in their “Trip” series at our Capitol Hill brewery. We look forward to further growth and innovation in our brewing adventures as we devise not only new and interesting beers, but a new and interesting future for the craft brewing industry. |

Epic Brewing Company is the first brewery since prohibition to focus exclusively on high-point beer in Utah. We are a boutique brewery committed to making beers true to style in every possible way and pushing the boundaries from time to time. We have three different tiers in our lineup: Classic, Elevated, and Exponential. The Classic Series is designed to be familiar to the everyday craft beer drinker. The Elevated Series is for the more adventurous who want a little more flavor and punch out of their beer. Lastly, the Exponential Series is where we allow our Head Brewer, Kevin Crompton, to experiment, be creative, and show off his more than 16 years of brewing. The Epic team has a strong belief in doing everything “all out.” |

In 1983, a series of events in the Himalayas involving under prepared hikers, an unfaithful Sherpa, a scared-shitless donkey, and quickly consumed contraband led to the creation of the Flying Dog philosophy. That's right, philosophy. It wasn't until 1990 that beer came into the picture. From a brewpub in Aspen, Colorado to a full-fledged Denver brewery, and then to a state-of-the-art brewing facility in Frederick, Maryland, Flying Dog stands for not only extraordinary beer, but also for standing tall, doing great things, and not letting anyone make you eat shit. For the past 20 years, we’ve done just that. We produce world-class craft beers and continue to push the envelope with experimental brews and limited-edition one-offs. All the while, we continuously pay homage to our Gonzo Godfathers – George Stranahan, Hunter S. Thompson, and Ralph Steadmam.

Almost 300 years later, Fordham brewing was re-born in the heart of Annapolis in 1995. With the ever-increasing demand, this frothing Fordham giant was more than our small brewery could handle. In an effort to provide more people with our brews, our plucky staff grabbed our recipes and moved Fordham to its new castle in Dover, Delaware…a brand new stainless steel castle of opportunity! |

Combining his business background with his passion for beer, which was developed through his international travels and his experience as a homebrewer, he decided to start a brewery. He set up shop in an abandoned dairy-processing plant at the edge of downtown Denver and began brewing the beers that would eventually carry Great Divide Brewing Company to its status as one of America’s most decorated microbreweries and would help transform Denver into an international destination for beer lovers. |

In the 1870s, Cleveland had 30 breweries. By the early 1980s, the last one had shuttered its doors. So when brothers Patrick and Daniel Conway opened Great Lakes Brewing Company on September 6, 1988, it not only signaled a new era in Cleveland brewing, it was also the first microbrewery in the state of Ohio. And the idea of a craft brewery in Cleveland caught on fast, as curious patrons hurried in for a pint crafted in the styles of old and drawn from the taps of the beautiful Victorian era bar. Our commitment to sustainable business practices greatly contributed to our early popularity and success. Before long, Great Lakes Brewing Company had become one of Cleveland’s most popular destinations for both dining and a fun night out. |

We started the Harpoon Brewery in 1986 because—like today—we loved beer and wanted more good choices. While traveling in Europe after college, we drank many wonderfully diverse, fresh, local beers. We also saw firsthand how important local breweries were to their communities. After our travels, we asked each other, “Why not bring great beer and that sense of community to New England?” Twenty-five years later we still revel in making great beer and sharing that joy with our friends and neighbors. The success that we have had running Harpoon is due entirely to the wonderful employees who brew, package, warehouse, sell, deliver, and market our beer, and you, the people who drink Harpoon. We hope that our sense of gratitude is reflected in both the quality of the beer and the spirit of fun and enjoyment surrounding our beer and breweries. When you visit our Boston brewery, where it all began, and our beautiful brewery in Windsor, Vermont we hope you will see our commitment to brewing excellence. We look forward to having a beer with you! Cheers! HARPOON IPA (India Pale Ale), HARPOON SUMMER BEER (Kolsch Ale), HARPOON RICH AND DAN’S RYE IPA (Rye IPA), UFO WHITE (American White Ale) |

A Story about the Little Brewery that Could Ithaca is a city with a strong sense of community and a passion for locally produced products. There are many local wineries, however people always questioned why there was no local brewery. Dan Mitchell, the founder of the Ithaca Beer Company, set out to answer that question by creating a brewery that would exemplify “The Spirit of the Finger Lakes”. Ithaca Street front sign The original concept for the brewery began in 1995, but it wasn’t until December of 1997 that the brewing system was purchased. It was discovered by chance after investigating another system in Texas that looked great on paper, but wasn’t adequate for the needs of the brewery. After passing on that system Dan had some time to kill and decided to travel around. During a visit to a brewpub in Austin, TX he discovered what would become our brewing system. He went in and asked them what kind of beers they made. They told him that they had stopped making beer and were actually preparing to sell their system. After checking it out the purchase was made and a month later the system was shipped up to Ithaca. Five months of renovation took place at our 606 Elmira Rd. location to turn it in to a functional brewery. After all the hard work renovating and setting up the equipment we were ready to begin the actual process of creating beer! The operation started small with only a couple of people (Dan and our previous Brew Master Jeff Conuel) doing everything that needed to be done to get the business off the ground. From the making of the beer, the packaging, the selling, and the mountains of paperwork necessary to operate a brewery they did it all. In December of ’98 the brewery officially opened. Since then, we’ve come a long way and grown considerably through lots of tireless work by a very dedicated staff. Just recently our hard work paid off when we were awarded 2 medals at the Great American Beer Festival in Colorado in 2008. Brewery ImageIthaca Beer Company now sells beer throughout New York State, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Ohio. Other states are in the works as we continue to expand our capacity. Even while growing we haven’t forgotten our commitment to crafting quality beers and being a part of the community that has supported us. As always we strive to capture the spirit of the Finger Lakes and share it with you. |

From our earliest days of striving to make consistently good beer, and instead making beer that ranged from vile, to barely drinkable, to wonderful, to elegant, to questionable-at-best. From being castigated by our West Marin neighbors to finally suffering an 'eviction' by our West Marin septic system. From landing in the welcoming arms of Petaluma, and actually getting our beer into bottles, onto the streets, and into the hands of sympathatic beer geeks, to steadily losing less money each month. From all this and more, Lagunitas Brewing Company is emerging as a battle-tested brewery capable of making great beer out of goat's milk, brambles, and asphalt on the surface of the Moon, if need be. |

In 1995, Lancaster Malt Brewing opened and brought back the popularity of Lancaster-brewed beer. The business fell under hard times until Lancaster Brewing Company purchased it in 2001. The company has a commitment to quality brewing and operates under Reinheitsgebot, which is a historic German law mandating that only malt, hops, yeast, and water be used for the preparation of beer. Consumers receive only good tasting beer from Lancaster Brewing Company, a Lancaster brewing tradition. |

The saturnalian saga of the Magic Hat Brewing Company began in 1978 in a Goddard College bathtub, where future brewmaster Bob Johnson first cultivated his maniacally obsessive interest in making “better beer with bigger flavor.” In a moment of supreme serendipity, Fate sent him off to an accidental meeting on a random Burlington street with future Magic Hat president Alan Newman. Before you could pour a pint, a brewery was born. |

Established in 1996, NHBC has grown from a scrappy two-man start-up to a thriving regional microbrewery, recognized for its creativity and artistry. We are very proud of our accomplishments thus far, and believe in earning our place in the brewing industry and in our customer’s hearts and minds everyday. All of our beer is brewed in Holland, Michigan at one of our two locations. We brew, cellar and package the main brands for distribution at our production facility on the north side of Holland, at 690 Commerce Court. In response to our considerable growth, we opened the new brewery in October of 2006, replacing the original headquarters. We also brew beer and distill spirits in our pub. The pub is a great place for us to explore new ideas, meet our customers in a comfortable setting and provide a place of community for all who visit. The beers made here are typically special brews that rarely see their way outside of the friendly confines of our pub. |

The tale of Old Dominion begins in 1989 with a man and a dream. That man was Jerry Bailey. Like a lot of folks in the DC metro area, he had a 9-5 job with the Federal Government. Working for the US Agency for International Development, Jerry’s dedication, integrity, and big heart helped to aid families in several foreign countries. Although content with his life, he longed for something greater. The first seeds of Jerry’s passion for brewing were planted when his brother, Tom, gave him a home brewing kit as a Christmas gift in 1978. After many hours researching recipes and creating experimental brews, Jerry and his buddies would get together on the weekends to indulge in the finely crafted beers he had worked so hard to perfect. By this time, the seeds of Old Dominion Brewing Company were beginning to take root. |

Before mass-produced beers ruled the earth, brewers used a variety of yeast strains, spices, grains, and artisanal methods to produce rich, heady brews full of robust aromas and exciting flavors. For years, the tiny nation of Belgium, situated at the crossroads of various European culinary traditions and agricultural regions, has been at the center of this brewing heritage, where hundreds of breweries produce countless styles and varieties of beer. |

Great canned beer? The term has been an oxymoron for craft beer lovers used to getting their full-flavored beers from bottles only. But in November of 2002, Oskar Blues Brewery (in tiny Lyons, Colorado, pop.1400) changed that by launching its “Canned Beer Apocalypse.” The brewery began hand-canning its hoppy, assertive-but-elegant Dale’s Pale Ale on a table-top machine that sealed just one can at a time. The move made Oskar Blues the first US craft brewer to brew and can its own beer. |

Our Story - You don't have to be in a dead end job to feel like you aren't going anywhere. That's the way we felt before River Horse. We were finance geeks living in a world without soul. Grinding it out everyday for a fee, wearing suits and kissing butt. Then this brewery chose us...she forced us to ask ourselves, "Is this desk job really how I pictured my life?" We answered that questions by taking over River Horse in 2007 and have not looked back. We may not end up as the greatest success story on earth, but at least we had the balls to try. Sometimes, for better or worse, your dreams get the best of you. Just remember, it's a big world out there and cubicles don't have doors, so you can walk out anytime. Come see us when you can. We are located in Lambertville, NJ on the banks of the Delaware. Thanks for supporting the cause. Hope you enjoy the beer... |

Spoetzl was founded in 1909, and claims to be the oldest independent brewery in Texas. A group of businessmen incorporated Shiner Brewing Association and placed Herman Weiss in as the company's first brewmaster. In 1914 a German immigrant brewer named Kosmas (or Kosmos) Spoetzl co-leased with Oswald Petzold with an option to buy in 1915. Spoetzl had attended brewmaster's school and apprenticed for three years in Germany, worked for eight years at the Pyramids Brewery in Cairo, Egypt, and then worked in Canada. He moved to San Antonio in search of a better climate for his health, bringing with him a family recipe for a Bavarian beer made from malted barley and hops. During Prohibition, Kosmas Spoetzl kept the brewery afloat by selling ice and making near beer. After Prohibition only five of the original 13 Texas breweries were still intact. When the Prohibition laws were repealed larger beer plants, such as Anheuser-Busch, moved to Texas making life harder on the smaller independent breweries, but Spoetzl kept things small and simple never going more than 70 miles for business. |

Located in Southampton, NY, the Southampton Publick House is a landmark for beer. Since the 1800s, beer has been created and served in the Publick House’s previous incarnations as a speakeasy, watering hole and restaurant. During Prohibition, on the site where Southampton Publick House stands today, the original proprietors operated a proper restaurant while hiding a speakeasy in the back that served smuggled spirits and beer. Thirsty restaurant patrons would disappear for a short while, typically returning with a much rosier disposition. Over the years, legendary figures of the 1920s like Babe Ruth, Clark Gable and Gary Cooper mixed right in with the regulars. This was a place where everyone got top billing, so these three luminaries were just “some of the guys,” sharing stories and a common passion for finding a tasty, quality brew. After this long and storied history, Don Sullivan bought the historic building with the goal of adding a brewery to honor the rich beer tradition of the owners and patrons who came before him. The Southampton Publick House was reborn in 1996 and began serving great food and superior quality craft brews in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. |

The story of Virgin Islands Pale Ale begins when two college buddies quit their jobs to live on the island of St. John. Chirag Vyas, who grew up in North Providence, R.I., Our First Homehad been living in California and working as a scientist at NASA. A friend from the University of Vermont, Kevin Chipman, was working as a physical therapist in Boston. Their first month on the island, Vyas and Chipman bused tables and paid someone $250 to sleep on an old sailboat. The boat had no electricity, so they ate by flashlight and stored food on a block of ice. The two soon found a cheap apartment to rent and worked their Kevin Perfecting the Recipeway up to bartending. But boredom set in, not with island life, but with island beer. So, like any inventive 20-somethings marooned in vacation paradise, Vyas and Chipman headed over to the public library in Cruz Bay and logged on to the Internet. If breweries can make beer, why couldn't they? A few clicks later, they had ordered a $50 beer-making kit. Vyas and Chipman's beer-making venture didn't really take off until several years after the two first begun brewing beer in their apartment in 2001. Woody's Seafood Saloon begins serving Virgin Islands Pale Ale By mid-2004, they had perfected their recipe for a pale ale with a hint of mango (extract, that is; the fruit was too strong), and later that year Vyas moved back to St. John. "We knew that we were filling a void" in the island's beer market, Chipman said. |

American Pale Ale: A uniquely American beer with a crisp, medium body and light amber color. Generous additions of Warrior and Cascade hops provide a refreshing bitterness and vibrant citrus aroma. This style has been our #1 selling beer for 10 years running. A very drinkable yet hoppy year round favorite. Scarlet Lady Ale: An English-style ale brewed with Marris Otter and Carmel malts, creating a rich, reddish-copper color and smooth malty palate. The additions of bittering and aroma hops balances the regal, sweet maltiness and imparts a softly perfumed aroma. Gold Lager: Has been widely recognized as one of the finest German-style beers brewed in America. This golden colored, smooth bodied Munich-style helles is brewed with a 2 row base malt and 3 types of aromatic specialty malts, then finished with a kiss of noble hops. A quaffable beer, with a subtle balance of sweet malt and clean crisp hops. Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup medal winner. Double IPA: A strong and full bodied ale with intense hop characteristics and a deep golden color. Multiple kettle hop additions and generous dry hopping contribute to the powerful bittering and fragrant hop character of this beer. |

Tommy Knocker We are located in the Colorado Mountains in the cozy historic mining town of Idaho Springs. You can still feel the presence of the miners and see how the town looked during the mining days of the 1890’s. Just 25 miles west of Denver and 20 miles east of Summit Co., we are easily found from either direction. Skiers can sit by our fireplace and warm up with a great beer after skiing or fill up on a delicious lunch on the way up to the slopes. |

Chris and John Trogner have been working hard to get Central Pennsylvania on the brewing map. Since 1997, these Mechanicsburg natives have been handcrafting world-class beers that combine traditional English brewing techniques with the eclecticism of new American brewing. But how they reached this point is as compelling as where they are headed. TRÖEGS (tr?gs) *v-tröeged, -tröeg'in The act of tröeg'in, ie "I tröeged it" or {slang} "that boy is tröeg'in" -adj. Uinta Brewing Company embarked upon its mission of brewing world class, full-flavored, craft-brewed beer in the winter of 1993. From a small, renovated mechanic's garage located in Salt Lake City, Uinta began distributing a tasty variety of beer ranging from 4.0% to over 10% alcohol by volume to local bars, restaurants, and liquor stores. Demand escalated, resulting in the installation of a bottling line in 1996. Then, in 2001, having outgrown its original building, Uinta built and relocated to a 26,000-square-foot facility, pictured above, specifically designed for brewing beer. Uinta Brewing is named after an east-west mountain range located in northeastern Utah. Many of Uinta's beer names are inspired by Utah's diverse landscapes or have historical significance. Cutthroat Pale Ale, Uinta's flagship beer, is named after Utah's state fish. Subsequent beer names followed suit, such as King's Peak Porter, named after Utah's highest peak, Golden Spike Hefeweizen, named after the spike used to commemorate the completion of the transcontinental railroad in Utah, and Dubhe, named after the Utah Centennial star. |

The story of Victory Brewing Company starts on a school bus in 1973 when fifth-graders Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski stepped aboard, on their way to a new school. The two became fast friends and remained so, even as they grew up and went to college on opposite coasts. Just months out of college, Bill’s appreciation of good beer and access to his father’s home brewing equipment inspired him to explore the hobby. That same year (1985), Bill gave Ron a home brewing kit as a Christmas gift. With that, both Bill and Ron developed their love of the craft, and a friendly rivalry grew between the two. The good-natured competition pushed Bill and Ron to become accomplished home brewers, and as they both grew disillusioned with their jobs in the corporate world they realized their combined skill and love of brewing could pave the path to successful careers as brewers. |

In 1988, two cash-strapped collegiate wrestlers realized that they could sustain their thirst for quality beer without spending their modest savings at the local liquor store by brewing beer themselves. So began the friendship of Tom Kehoe and Jon Bovit. As they made their way through college they continued to experiment with homebrewing and formulating new recipes. Proud of their product, they were eager to share it with friends. An instant favorite, it wasn't long until they realized their modest homebrewing operation wasn't going to be enough to satisfy the growing demand.During the early 1990s, many breweries opened, and craft brewing started to gain popularity. Working in a small English-style brewery in Western Maryland, Tom Kehoe and Jon Bovit decided to take matters into their own hands, and in 1994, they founded Yards Brewing Company.

The origins of the Lefebvre brewery, located at Quenast (in the Brabant region of Wallonia, the French speaking district of Belgium) in the valley of the Senne, goes back to 1876. In this year, Jules Lefebvre, gamekeeper, farmer, inn keeper and brewer, inaugurated his new brewery. Pubs were opened around the neighbouring porphyry quarries so that the numerous workmen, made thirsty by stone working, could come to refresh themselves. |

From the very beginning, Unibroue has carved out a special niche in the beer world with top quality products and a brand rooted deep in Quebec culture. It made history by becoming the first North American beer maker to use a brewing method inspired by the two-centuries-old tradition developed by Trappist monks in Europe—particularly in Belgium. Over the years, Unibroue has remained faithful to its origins even as it has grown to become an icon of the brewing world. Unibroue products take you on a journey filled with legends and fabulous tales. The Unibroue adventure began in 1990, when André Dion and Serge Racine decided to vie for a share of the fast-growing craft beer market. Mindful of the competition, their goal was to create a different product with strong consumer appeal. They became majority shareholders of La Brasserie Massawippi, a financially troubled Lennoxville brewery. André Dion and Serge Racine finalized their acquisition of La Brasserie Massawippi in late 1991 and merged with Unibroue in early 1992. The new company immediately established itself as a specialty brewer. Mr. Dion became the President and CEO, and Mr. Racine sat on the Board of Directors. Continuing in 1992 Unibroue partnered with a Belgian brewer specializing in beer on lees and made history with the launch of Blanche de Chambly—North America’s first abbey beer. That same year, Quebec singer-songwriter Robert Charlebois became one of Unibroue’s major partners. In 1993 Unibroue moved to a new, cutting-edge microbrewery in Chambly, Quebec. The brewery gradually started to build its export capacity by developing a distribution network throughout Quebec and across Canada and started distributing to the US and Europe in 1994. The rest is a continuation of history and legends that can all be told and talked about in Atlantic City NJ having one of our delicious Belgian Style Unibroue Beers |
